Our Mission: The mission of Crown Pointe Academy is to promote creativity, curiosity, character, and community in a challenging Core Knowledge environment.
Due to a scheduling conflict with the photography company, individual student picture re-takes did not take place today. We will reschedule picture re-takes and notify parents of when those will take place. If you sent your student’s picture package back to the school, it will be held at the front office.
Report cards were sent home with all students today, so please be sure you ask your student for his/her report card! If you have any questions about grades or assignments, please contact the teachers directly.
Does your child like to be creative, solve problems, and work on a team? Come learn more about Crown Pointe Academy’s Destination Imagination program at the DI Kickoff Meeting this Wednesday, October 23rd at 6:30 in the CPA library. For more information about Destination Imagination at CPA and the meeting on Wednesday, see the flyer on the website.
The 1st Quarter Honor Roll and Awards assemblies will take place this Friday, October 25th. The Middle School ceremony will take place at 7:30 in the cafeteria, and the elementary assembly will be at 8:20 in the gymnasium. Parents of students being recognized were notified by email yesterday. If you have any questions, please contact Erin Keyes at erin.keyes@crownpointeacademy.
Are you looking for volunteer hours? Stop by the cafeteria this Friday, October 25th during dismissal for our Volunteer Brown Bag Pick Up event! The process is so simple– just go to the cafeteria, sign out a project, complete it over the weekend, and return it next Monday. This is a great way to get some hours, and it’s a huge service to our staff. Contact the front office with any questions.
As a school, we have recorded 5,528 volunteer hours to date. Please remember to record all of your volunteer hours and help us reach our volunteering goal of 14,000 hours for the year. Demonstrating strong parental involvement can help CPA qualify for grants and other funding opportunities, so it’s important that every hour is recorded. You can fill out the paper log and return it to the office, or you can record your hours online by sending an email to volunteer@
