Your CPA-PTA is hosting the Holiday Gift Shop from Fun Services after school from 3:15-4:30 everyday this week in the CPA library. Students must have a parent or supervising adult present to shop. Please contact pta@crownpointeacademy.org with any questions.
Volunteers Needed! PTA also needs volunteers to help staff the Holiday Gift Shop this week. Please sign up HERE if you can help.
The CPA National Junior Honor Society is collecting items for their “Self-Care Giving Tree” this holiday season. They are collecting items such as razors, lip balm, toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant, and hair care products. All items will be donated to the Community Table of Arvada. Please see the flyer for more information.
Middle School and 5th grade are getting ready for the Science Expo coming up on Wednesday, December 14th! They are excited and a little nervous but preparing to share their work. This requirement for science class will give them a true audience for sharing their science/engineering projects. The schedule is:
- 6:00pm 6th grade and 5th grade will be at their projects for interviews
- 6:30pm 7th grade will be at their projects for interviews
- 7:00pm 8th grade will be at their projects for interviews
We need parent volunteers! Even if you do not have a middle school student, we can use your help interviewing students about their projects. If you are interested in volunteering as an interviewer, please contact Mrs. Roe by December 9th at marcia.roe@
The Academy Board is seeking candidates to fill one vacant parent position on the board. The term will start on January 1, 2023 and run through June 30, 2024. If you are interested, please complete the Declaration of Candidacy form and return it to the school by December 16th. Contact Board Vice President, Dawn Baird, with any questions at dawn.baird@crownpointeacademy.
The WATCH D.O.G.S Pizza Night is this Wednesday, December 7th at 6:00. If you signed up for the original event, we will keep you signed up for this night as well. Please contact Mr. Chesser at jason.chesser@

La Sociedad Nacional de Honor Juvenil de CPA está recolectando artículos para su “Árbol de autocuidado” en esta temporada navideña. Están recolectando artículos como navajas de afeitar, bálsamo labial, cepillos de dientes y pasta de dientes, desodorante y productos para el cuidado del cabello. Todos los artículos serán donados a Community Table de Arvada. Consulte el folleto para obtener más información.
¡La escuela intermedia y el quinto grado se están preparando para la Exposición de Ciencias que se realizará el miércoles 14 de diciembre! Están emocionados y un poco nerviosos pero preparándose para compartir su trabajo. Este requisito para la clase de ciencias les dará una verdadera audiencia para compartir sus proyectos de ciencia/ingeniería. El horario es:
- 6:00 pm 6° y 5° grado estarán en sus proyectos para entrevistas
- 6:30 pm 7° grado estarán en sus proyectos para entrevistas
- 7:00 pm 8° grado estarán en sus proyectos para entrevistas
¡Necesitamos padres voluntarios! Incluso si no tiene un estudiante de secundaria, podemos usar su ayuda para entrevistar a los estudiantes sobre sus proyectos. Si está interesado en ser voluntario como entrevistador, comuníquese con la Sra. Roe antes del 9 de diciembre en marcia.roe@
La Junta de la Academia está buscando candidatos para ocupar un puesto vacante de padres en la junta. El período comenzará el 1 de enero de 2023 y finalizará el 30 de junio de 2024. Si está interesado, complete el formulario de Declaración de candidatura y devuélvelo a la escuela antes del 16 de diciembre.
