Our mission: The mission of Crown Pointe Academy is to promote creativity, curiosity, character, and community in a challenging Core Knowledge environment.
Progress reports were sent home with students today, so make sure you ask your student for his/her progress report!
To celebrate Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, students are allowed to wear solid red, pink, or white shirts, or school-appropriate Valentine’s Day themed shirts to school. Students who purchased jeans for the year may wear jeans on Wednesday as well.
Last call! The Academy Board is looking for volunteers for the new Strategic Planning Committee. This committee will discuss various opportunities and challenges facing CPA such as a revised school calendar, teacher recruitment and retention, expansion/replication, and school funding opportunities. There is an application to be a part of this committee. If you are interested in joining, please complete the application (available on the CPA website) and drop it off at the front office by Wednesday, February 14th.
The Pajama Jam Dance hosted by your CPA-PTA is this Friday, February 16th from 6:00-8:30. Students in all grades are invited to come and dance the night away in their favorite pjs! This is a family event– all students must be accompanied by an adult. See the flyer on the CPA website for more information.
The CPA Yearbook is now for sale! Purchase your copy of this year’s book by ordering online. A standard yearbook is $16.50, and there are options for customization as well. The deadline to purchase your book for May delivery is April 4th! See the flyer on the CPA website for more information.
Make sure you check out this week’s Update (attached) for important information about Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart!
As a school, we have recorded 8,303 volunteer hours to date. Please remember to record all of your volunteer hours and help us reach our volunteering goal of 14,000 hours for the year. Demonstrating strong parental involvement can help CPA qualify for grants and other funding opportunities, so it’s important that every hour is recorded. You can fill out the paper log and return it to the office, or you can record your hours online by sending an email to volunteer@
