3rd quarter report cards were sent home with all students today.  Please be sure you ask your child for his/her report card, and contact the teachers with any questions.

Spring picture day is TOMORROW, Tuesday, April 1st.  This is a non-uniform day for all students.  Van Gogh School Photography will be taking individual spring pictures, kindergarten graduation pictures in a cap and gown, and 8th grade continuation pictures (dress code guidelines will be sent by Mrs. Hughes).  All pictures will be taken in front of a green screen with a variety of background options.  Van Gogh is requesting that all payments are made online.  For easy ordering, click HERE.  The CPA school code is 300324.  Please see the flyers sent home yesterday for more information, and contact the front office with any questions.

Our next Brown Bag Volunteer Pick Up is this Friday, April 4th during dismissal.  Stop by our table, sign out a project, complete it over the weekend, and return it next Monday.  This is an easy way to earn some volunteer hours and a huge service to our staff!  Contact the front office with any questions.

The Academy Board is seeking candidates to fill two open spaces on the Board starting July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2027.  If you are interested in running for the Academy Board, please complete the Declaration of Candidacy form and submit it to Board Secretary, Dawn Baird, at dawn.baird@crownpointeacademy.org.  Declaration of Candidacy forms must be returned no later than Friday, April 11th.

CPA is breaking ground on our new PreK-2nd grade school on May 6th, and we want current CPA students to get involved!  We are looking for one student from each grade to be a part of the ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony.  If your child would like to be considered for this honor, he/she needs to tell us why they love CPA as part of our contest.  The attached document outlines what students need to do and turn into Mr. Chesser by April 18th.  Contact Mr. Chesser or Mrs. Webb with any questions.

The CPA-PTA is looking for more attendance at their monthly meetings.  If you attend PTA’s next regular meeting this Thursday, April 3rd at 4:00 p.m., your child(ren) will receive a non-uniform certificate.  See the PTA flyer for more information.

Save the date!  Biology Night is coming up on Tuesday, April 8th from 5:00-7:00.  Join us for free dinner provided by the CPA-PTA along with fun biology stations and experiments.  The Sugar Shack will be here selling desserts and snacks, too!  See the flyer for more details and get excited!

Las boletas de calificaciones del tercer trimestre se enviaron a casa con todos los estudiantes hoy.  Asegúrese de pedirle a su hijo su boleta de calificaciones y comuníquese con los maestros si tiene alguna pregunta.

El día de las fotografías de primavera es MAÑANA, martes 1 de abril.  Este es un día sin uniforme para todos los estudiantes.  La fotografía de la escuela Van Gogh tomará fotografías individuales de primavera, fotografías de graduación del jardín de infantes con toga y birrete y fotografías de continuación del octavo grado (las pautas del código de vestimenta serán enviadas por la Sra. La Junta de la Academia está buscando candidatos para llenar dos espacios abiertos en la Junta a partir del 1 de julio de 2025 y hasta el 30 de junio de 2027. Si está interesado en postularse para la Junta de la Academia, complete el formulario de Declaración de Candidatura y envíelo a la Secretaría de la Junta, Dawn Baird, en amanecer.baird@crownpointeacademy.org.  Los formularios de Declaración de Candidatura deben devolverse a más tardar el viernes 11 de abril.

CPA está iniciando la construcción de nuestra nueva escuela de preescolar a segundo grado el 6 de mayo, ¡y queremos que los estudiantes actuales de CPA participen!  Estamos buscando un estudiante de cada grado para ser parte de la ceremonia de inauguración.  Si su hijo desea ser considerado para este honor, debe decirnos por qué le encanta CPA como parte de nuestro concurso.  El documento adjunto describe lo que los estudiantes deben hacer y convertirse en Mr. Chesser. antes del 18 de abril.  Comuníquese con el Sr. Chesser o la Sra.
