Congratulations to our two new Academy Board members Keith Miller and Gabe Sandoval! Because we had two candidates for two open positions, there will not be a formal election. Their terms will run from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2020.
The CPA Wellness Team is hosting a health expo called Big FISH Night on Friday, April 27th from 5:30-8:00 p.m. This event is free and open to all ages. Students must be accompanied by an adult. Join us for fun games, sports, fitness activities, health information, and snacks! We will also have drawings for great prizes! Contact Mr. Varner with any questions. We hope to see you there!
Spring picture proofs were sent home with students last week. You may order pictures online or by sending your order with payment to the front office. The order deadline is April 20th. All orders will be shipped directly to your home. Pictures ordered after April 20th will only be accepted online and you will be charged shipping and handling fees. Contact the front office with any questions.
The Crown Pointe Academy Drama Club will be presenting William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Pomona High School on Saturday, May 19th at 7:00 p.m. We are requesting a $2.00 donation per person to attend. We hope to see you there!
As a school, we have recorded 9,746 volunteer hours to date. Please remember to record all of your volunteer hours and help us reach our volunteering goal of 14,000 hours for the year. Demonstrating strong parental involvement can help CPA qualify for grants and other funding opportunities, so it’s important that every hour is recorded. You can fill out the paper log and return it to the office, or you can record your hours online by sending an email to volunteer@
