Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 25th, is our Chick-fil-a Spirit Night fundraiser from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the 104th and Federal location. Chick-fil-a will give up to 20% of proceeds from CPA’s sales back to our school. Be sure you tell the cashier inside or at the drive thru that you are with CPA so that we receive credit! Students who dine in should check in at the welcome table. The class with the highest participation will win a Chick-fil-a party at school. All funds raised will go to the CPA Drama Club and this year’s production of The Jungle Book.
It’s spirit week at Crown Pointe Academy! All students are invited to participate in the following fun theme days:
- Tuesday, September 25th: Crazy hair/hat day. Students may do their hair in a crazy way or wear a crazy hat to school.
- Wednesday, September 26th: Pajama Day. Students may wear their favorite pajamas to school. Make sure you follow the non-uniform guidelines and that all clothing is school-appropriate.
- Thursday, September 27th: Mis-Match Day. Students may wear mis-matched clothing to school. Make sure you follow the non-uniform guidelines and that all clothing is school-appropriate.
- Friday, September 28th: Super Hero Day. Students may dress like their favorite super hero or character. No masks or face paint please! Jeans are allowed for all students.
If students choose not to participate in the theme days, they should wear their regular uniform to school.
To wrap up our spirit week, the CPA-PTA is hosting the Back to School picnic this Friday, September 28th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. PTA will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks. All families are asked to bring a side dish. Please see the flyer on the CPA website for more information. This is a family event– all students must be accompanied by an adult.
The deadline to pay for jeans is this Friday, September 28th. If you would like to purchase jeans for your student for the year, please bring your $30.00 payment to the front office. All funds raised go towards the Spanish Trip fundraiser.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up on Thursday, October 4th from 4:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday, October 5th from 11:00-7:00 p.m. Elementary parents must sign up for their conference time by clicking here. Middle school conferences are held on a drop in, first come, first served basis. For more information on conferences for both elementary and middle school, please see the letters sent home with your child today. The information is also on the CPA website.
The CPA-PTA would love your help in providing meals to the teachers and staff during conferences. If you are willing to bring an item, please complete the form on the CPA website and return it to the school, or sign up online by clicking here.
