Hello Crown Pointe Community,

Happy SEW Saturday from the Social Emotional Wellness Committee!  We are sending out weekly emails with ideas we feel can help our community build resilience and stay connected.

First, we wanted to share an update with you about Kindness Club.  The new and final total that the CPA Community raised is $1620.00! This means that CPA is now providing 23 hotel vouchers! Check out this thank you video: https://youtu.be/F8MNpAOTxWA

Today we would also like to share two recommendations for virtual programs that help with practicing self care, reducing stress, and building resiliency.

Calm and Headspace both have free and paid options.





Both of these apps are visually appealing and easy to navigate.  They both offer exercises that connect with being mindful, including guided meditations and ways to help cope with anxiety, stress, and anger.

There are programs on both apps that help with finding focus, dealing with difficult conversations, heightening your self awareness, and ones that assist you with getting more quality sleep.  There are even bedtime stories for adults that feature celebrity narrators as well as sleep music features.

Time spent exploring new ways to manage the stress we are all experiencing during this pandemic is time well spent! There is a world of knowledge at our fingertips through our computers and phones. We hope you’ll take a look.
