We had a great first week back to school and are looking forward to another strong week.
Please continue to work on routines at home to support your child here at Crown Pointe Academy. Here are some home tips:

Homework Station: Designate a time and place that is distraction-free

Read at Home: This is the best thing you can do for your child. Take 30 minutes every day for reading. This can be very helpful before bedtime

30-60 mins tech-free before bedtime

Wake up early enough to be here on time. Starting your day on time at school is vital to educational success.
Phones at School Update:

Students in Middle School are no longer allowed to have phones out during drop-off in the cafeteria. Our goal is to start the day off with a better mindset and reclaim that face-to-face connection. These actions also align more closely with current school policy.

Phones should not be in use until dismissal is over around 3:45 PM. This creates a safety hazard as they aren’t keeping an eye out for their cars, and we can’t monitor their content. If a student needs to communicate with a parent urgently, they can ask for permission, but otherwise, they should wait until dismissal is over.

Friday, Jan 16th– BRONCOS Attire! Students can wear Broncos attire and jeans (if paid for) to support their playoff run.
Monday, Jan. 19th– Martin Luther King Jr. Day, NO SCHOOL
February 26– Parent Teacher Conferences from 4-9 pm (More information coming)
February 27– No School: Parent Teacher Conferences from 11-7 pm (More information coming)
March 3rd- Astronomy Night from 5-7 pm
March 10th– Boosterthon Fundraiser Run
