How to Teach Your Kids Responsibility: Want to raise responsible children? It’s all about practice, modeling, and guidance– and this should start from a very young age. From feeding the family pet to managing their own chores, our partners at Children’s Hospital Colorado explain how to introduce responsibility at different ages and make it part of your family routine. 1st quarter report cards were sent home with students today. Please be sure to ask your child for his/her report card, and contact the teachers if you have any questions.
The 1st quarter honor roll and awards breakfast and assembly will be on Friday, November 7th. Families of students being recognized will be notified later this week.
Join us for Coffee with a Cop this Friday, October 24th at 8:00 a.m. CPA’s School Resource Officers (SROs) will be here to talk about school safety and answer any questions. See the attached flyer for more information. We hope to see you there!
Eye Love Care is coming to CPA on Thursday, October 30th, Friday, October 31st, and Monday, November 3rd! Eye Love Care will be giving free eye exams and eyewear to students, all at no cost to parents/families! Sign your child up NOW to participate!

Save the date for our next Volunteer Brown Bag Pick Up this Friday, October 24th during dismissal. Stop by the table, sign out a project, complete it over the weekend, and return it next Monday. This is a great way to get some volunteer hours and it’s also a huge service to the staff! Contact the office with any questions.

Cómo enseñar responsabilidad a tus hijos:¿Quieres criar hijos responsables? Se trata de práctica, ejemplo y guía, y esto debe comenzar desde muy pequeños. Desde alimentar a la mascota de la familia hasta gestionar sus propias tareas, nuestros colaboradores del Hospital Infantil de Colorado explican cómo introducir la responsabilidad a diferentes edades e integrar los a la rutina familiar. Hoy se enviaron a casa las boletas de calificaciones del primer trimestre. Por favor, pídanle a su hijo/a la suya y contacten a los maestros si tienen alguna pregunta.
El desayuno y la asamblea de entrega de premios y el cuadro de honor del primer trimestre se celebrarán el viernes 7 de noviembre. Se notificará a las familias de los estudiantes que recibirán el reconocimiento a finales de esta semana.
