Welcome to the first Email Blast of the 2025-2026 school year! If you wish to update the email address on file with the school to receive news and updates or any of your contact preferences, please update your information in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
The weekly Email Blast, typically sent on Mondays, provides important upcoming information to families, so make reading this blast along with your classroom newsletter part of your weekly routine. It is also shared on our website each week.
Welcome back to all of our middle school students on their first day! Almost everyone got their lockers open, and classes started without a hitch. We know it will be a great school year!
We are also excited to see all of our elementary students at their testing appointment either today or tomorrow. If you need a reminder of your testing time, please contact the front office.
To kick off the school year, CPA will be hosting our Elementary Pep Rally for K-5 students on Friday, August 15th on the turf starting at 7:30 during drop off. Join us for photo ops, coffee and donuts, music and fun! See the flyer for more information, and contact the office with any questions.
Back to School Night is Friday, August 15th from 4:30-6:00 p.m. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet your student’s teacher(s) and learn more about what to expect this school year. There will be an all school welcome in the gymnasium at 4:30 followed by two elementary sessions in classrooms and two middle school sessions in the gym. This will give families the opportunity to meet with several teachers. We hope to see you there!
The Back to School Picnic hosted by your CPA-PTA will follow Back to School Night on Friday, August 15th from 5:30-8:00 p.m. PTA will provide hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone, and each family is asked to bring a dish to share based on the first letter of your last name. Please see the flyer for more information.

Van Gogh School Photography will be taking school pictures this Monday, August 18th. This is a regular uniform day, and all students must have their picture taken for school IDs and lunch cards. To limit transactions and money handling, Van Gogh is requesting that all orders and payments are made online this year. You may pre-order pictures online at www.orders.vangoghco.com/
Please remember to submit your applications for Free or Reduced lunches as soon as possible HERE. Even though everyone receives free meals this year, it is important to complete your application for benefits as soon as possible as this information can help qualify you for additional benefits along with our school. La Noche de regreso a clases es este viernes 15 de agosto, de 4:30 p. m. a 6:00 p. m., será una excelente oportunidad para conocer a los maestros de su hijo/a y aprender más sobre qué esperar este año escolar. Habrá una bienvenida para toda la escuela en el gimnasio a las 4:30 p. m., seguida de dos sesiones para primaria y dos sesiones para secundaria en el gimnasio. Esto les dará a las familias la oportunidad de conocer a varios maestros. ¡Esperamos verlos allí!
El Picnic de regreso a clases es una actividad, organizada por su PTA de CPA se realizará después de la Noche de Regreso a Clases el viernes 15 de agosto, de 5:30 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. El PTA ofrecerá hot dogs y hamburguesas para todos, y cada familia deberá traer un plato para compartir según la primera letra de su apellido. Consulte el folleto para obtener más información.

La Escuela de Fotografía Van Gogh estará tomando fotografías escolares este lunes 18 de agosto.Este es un día de uniforme regular, y todos los estudiantes deben tomarse una fotografía para las identificaciones escolares y las tarjetas de almuerzo.Para limitar las transacciones y el manejo de dinero, Van Gogh solicita que todos los pedidos y pagos se realicen en línea este año.
