The end of the grading period for progress reports is this Wednesday, November 14th.  Progress reports will be sent home with students on Monday, November 26th. Save the date!  The CPA-PTA is hosting a family movie night on Friday, November 30th.  The doors will open at 6:00 and the movie will start at 6:30.  Entrance to the event is free and concessions will be available for purchase.  See the flyer on the CPA website for more information. Is your child missing a coat, sweatshirt, lunchbox, water bottle, etc.?  All lost and found items will be put out by the front office through the end of this week.  Anything not claimed by Friday will be donated. As a reminder, next week is Thanksgiving break and the school will be closed.  We would like to wish all CPA families a safe, happy, and restful Thanksgiving holiday! On Halloween this Wednesday, students are allowed to wear a Halloween-themed t-shirt or an orange or black shirt to school.  Students who purchased jeans for the year may also wear jeans on Wednesday.  No costumes please. Join us for the PTA meeting this Thursday, November 1st at 6:00 in the CPA library.  We would love ideas for new activities and events at CPA.  We hope to see you there! Congratulations to Crown Pointe Academy’s newest Board Member, Edward Rey.  Mr. Rey will be replacing Keith Miller on the Board, and his term will end on June 30, 2020.  We originally expected an election for the open seat, so some families may receive a ballot in the mail.  If you receive a ballot, please disregard it.  Contact any Board member with questions. Report cards were sent home with all students today.  Be sure you ask your student for his/her report card, and contact the teachers with any questions. The all school photograph will take place tomorrow, October 24th at 10:00 a.m.  All students must be in uniform for this picture.  Contact Leslie in the front office with questions. The PTA is hosting the Harvest Festival this Saturday, October 27th from 2:00-6:00 p.m.  Join us for a bake sale, cake walk, costume contest, haunted hallway, carnival games, face painting, and more!  This event is fun for the whole family, and all students must be accompanied by an adult.  If you are interested in helping at the Harvest Festival, please click here to sign up.  We hope to see you there! Members of Girl Scout Troop 1359 are holding a drive for care packages for children in foster care, and they are seeking donations of the following: soap, shampoo and conditioner, tooth paste and tooth brushes, hair brushes, hair ties, books, notebooks, pencils/pens, backpacks, etc.  The drive will run through November 1st.  If you have items to donate, please bring them in and leave them in one of the bins in the halls at CPA.  See the flyer on the CPA website for more information.
