Enrollment

Join the Crown Pointe Academy Family

At Crown Pointe Academy, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student is valued. We do not discriminate on the basis of disability, race, creed, color, gender, national origin, religion, ancestry, or special education needs. We want your child to thrive here!

2. How Our Lottery Works

Because we often have more interested families than available seats, we use an annual lottery to ensure a fair process.

The Important Dates:

    • Lottery Date: Held annually no later than the second Friday of March.

    • Notification Date: You will be notified of your child’s status (Accepted or Waitlisted) no later than April 1st. Notification will be sent to the email you provided at registration.

The Drawing Order: The lottery begins with the lowest grade level and moves upward. To honor our existing community, priority is given in this specific order:

  1. Siblings of currently enrolled students.

  2. Children and Grandchildren of full-time staff and board members.

  3. All other students, regardless of where you live or your home school district.

Note to Waitlisted Families:

We deeply value the families who have been waiting for a spot at Crown Pointe Academy. Here is how your status is protected and how it changes annually:

    • Current Year Protection: Students will remain on the waitlist in the order Lotterease has placed them and will remain on the waitlist until the parent removes the student from Lottery.

    • The Annual Lottery Cycle: Please note that this specific priority is respected for the current school year only.

    • Next Year’s Lottery: If you remain on the list until the following year’s lottery cycle (March of the next year), the list will be resorted according to the new lottery drawing.

    • Maintaining Your Spot: To stay in the process, please ensure your contact information in the Lotterease portal is always up to date.

3. What Happens Once You Are Picked?

If your child is offered a spot, the clock starts!

  • 48-Hour Window: You have 48 hours to officially accept or decline the offer.

  • Missed Deadline: If you do not respond within 48 hours, the spot will be offered to the next family, and your child will move down the lottery order.

  • Sibling Bonus: If one child receives a spot through the lottery, their siblings participating in the same lottery are automatically moved to the priority list.

Advanced Learning: Early Access

Is your child highly advanced or gifted? We offer an “Early Access” program for children who require comprehensive academic acceleration.
