The Building Accountability Advisory Committee (BAAC) is seeking your feedback by completing this year’s parent survey.  See the attached letter for more information. Parent-Teacher Conferences are this Thursday, February 28th from 4:00-9:00 and Friday, March 1st from 11:00-7:00.  Elementary parents must sign up for their time slot by clicking here.  Middle school conferences will take place on a drop in first come, first served basis.  If you have any questions, please contact your student’s teacher or the front office. The CPA-PTA is looking for food donations for staff meals during conferences on Thursday and Friday.  To sign up to bring an item, please click here. Save the date!  Parent Information Night on School Assessments is coming up on Thursday, March 7th at 6:00 p.m. before the regular PTA meeting.  Pizza and drinks will be provided!  If you are interested in learning about what assessments your student takes and how the results are used, please plan to attend this event.  The regular PTA meeting will follow. Progress reports were sent home with all students today.  Please be sure you ask your student for his/her progress report, and contact the teachers with any questions. To celebrate Valentine’s Day on Thursday, students are allowed to wear solid red, pink, or white shirts, or school-appropriate Valentine’s Day themed shirts to school.  Students who purchased jeans for the year may wear jeans on Thursday as well. The CPA Yearbook is now for sale!  Purchase your copy of this year’s book by ordering online at treering.com/validate.  Our school’s code is 101392221425678.  A standard yearbook is $16.50, and there are options for customization as well.   The deadline to purchase your book for end of school year delivery is April 23rd. Due to weather, ALL after school activities for today have been cancelled including Drama Club, middle school study groups with Mrs. Roe and Mr. Gonzalez, Girl Scouts, and the 5th grade music program.  The 5th grade music program has been rescheduled for next Monday, February 4th.  Contact the front office with questions. As a reminder, should the school need to close due to inclement weather, you will receive communication from the school via email, phone call, and text message.  It will also be posted on our website and social media.  Additionally,  you can also check local media outlets for school closure information and watch for Crown Pointe Academy.  Please sign in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and make sure all of your contact information is up to date.  Thank you! Big FISH Night is this Friday, February 1st from 5:30-8:00 p.m.  This fun and engaging fitness expo is open to students and families in all grades, and all students must be accompanied by an adult.  See the flyer and schedule of events on the CPA website for more information.
