Progress reports were sent home with all students today.  Please be sure you ask your student for his/her progress report, and contact the teachers with any questions. Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up next Thursday, February 27th from 4:00-9:00 and Friday, February 28th from 11:00-7:00.  Elementary parents must sign up for their time slot by clicking  here.  Step-by-step directions for how to sign up for your conference time were sent home in today’s Monday Folder, and the letter is also available on the website.  Middle school conferences will take place on a drop in first come, first served basis.  Information about middle school conferences is also available on the website.  If you have any questions, please contact your student’s teacher or the front office. The CPA-PTA is looking for food donations for staff meals during conferences next week.  To sign up to bring an item, please click here. We will be taking spring, kindergarten graduation, and 8th grade continuation pictures next Tuesday, February 25th.  This is a non-uniform day for all students.  Students will be photographed individually in front of a green screen.  Many spring backgrounds will be available to choose from.  An instruction flyer with how to order photos online will be sent home by March 9th, and any photo packages will be shipped directly to your home.  Contact the front office with any questions. Save the date!  Crown Pointe Academy will be hosting a Family Space Science Night on Monday, March 9th.  This fun evening will include a free dinner while watching the movie “Hidden Figures” along with interactive space science stations and viewing the full moon through telescopes!  If you would like to sign up to help with Family Science Night, click HERE.  Watch your email for more details and see the flyer on the CPA website for information. Are you looking for volunteer hours?  Stop by the cafeteria during dismissal this Friday, February 21st for our Brown Bag Pick Up event.  Just sign out a project, complete it over the weekend, and return it next Monday.  This is a great way to earn some commitment hours and it’s a huge service to our staff.  Contact the front office with any questions. The end of the grading period for progress reports is this Wednesday, February 12th.  All students will receive their progress report next Tuesday, February 18th.  This is also a great time to clear up any outstanding fines, fees, or overdue lunch balances.  Please contact the office if you have any questions. 6th Grade Outdoor Lab Students Coming Back Today. New this year!  Hot lunch will be offered this year through Boulder Valley School District, which will include a salad bar and fresh fruit options daily.  To apply for Free and Reduced meals click HERE.  Breakfast will be offered in the mornings from 7:30-7:55.   The cost for a breakfast is $1.75.  The cost for lunch is $3.25.   Students who qualify for free or reduced rate will receive meals at their designated rate.  The cost for a milk only is $0.40.  Meals must be prepaid and can purchased online at my.mealtime.com or at the school. This Thursday, January 23rd, Mr. Varner will be offering a special FISH Jr. event for students in grades K-3 from 3:45-5:00 in the gym.  The regular Fitness Inspired School Health (FISH) team will lead some fun activities to support Jump Rope for Heart.  To participate, all students must have a signed permission slip, which is available on the CPA website.  Contact Mr. Varner with any questions. The CPA-PTA is hosting the Snowball Dance this Friday, January 24th from 5:30-8:30 p.m.  Join us for a night of fun with food, music, and dancing!  Entrance to the dance is free, and concessions will be available for purchase.  If you are interested in volunteering to help with the dance, please sign up by clicking here.  See the flyer on the CPA website for more information.  This event is open to all students K-8 and ALL students must be accompanied by an adult.
