Welcome to the Social Emotional Wellness Page,

We recognize that COVID has changed so much about how we live our lives, from how we go to school to how we interact with other people. There are new challenges that we are facing everyday and we need resources to help us not just survive, but thrive during this unprecedented time.

Social emotional wellness means becoming more self aware of how we think, what we feel, and how we act. It also looks at how we can effectively manage our emotions and mitigate our life stressors, as well as how we tap into our internal motivation to become our best selves. Finally social emotional wellness focuses on how we can cultivate empathy, not only towards others but also ourselves and how that impacts our relationships with others.

Crown Pointe Academy is committed to supporting the social and emotional needs of our families. We started the Social Emotional Wellness (SEW) page as a way to streamline communication, provide easy access to information, and help our community connect with resources.

On this page you will find links with information on different ways we are helping our community to develop their Social Emotional Wellness including:

We will also be sending out a weekly newsletter called ‘SEW Saturday’ with tips, resources, and ideas for families to use to bolster their social emotional wellness. An archive of the SEW Saturday Newsletter will be kept on this site.

If you would like to be in touch with us, have ideas for Social Emotional Wellness, or resources that we can add to this site, please email SEW@crownpointeademy.org.

May you be well!
